SOC 100 Introduction to Sociology

This course is designed to be an introduction to the academic discipline of sociology. It focuses on the history and central theories in the field, as well as acquainting the students with the techniques of analysis used by sociologists as they conduct research. Students in this course will study topics such as gender issues, population, race and minority relations, the family, and social change. 3 credit hours
