The basic principles of Mendelian, non-Mendelian, and molecular genetics are considered in this course. The structure and function of the gene, patterns of inheritance, gene interaction, and gene regulation are discussed. 3 lecture hours. Prerequisite: BIO 142 or BIO 150 with a grade of 2.0 or higher.
