HSP 230 Leadership and Human Resource Management in the Hospitality and Tourism IndustrySpring Semester
Utilizing a case study method, this course examines best practices in leadership in the hospitality and tourism industry. The goal of this class is to clearly establish the nexus between leadership theories/practice and human resource management. The leadership component will focus on various theories of servant leadership and related case studies. The human resource component of the class is designed to advance the students understanding of human resource policies, practices and procedures in a hospitality and tourism industry context.
