PHY 260 Engineering Physics: Electricity & Magnetism

Fall Semester

This course introduces the student to the topics of static electricity, electric fields, Gauss’ Law, electric potential, capacitance, resistance, current, voltage, magnetic fields, Ampere’s Law, Faraday’s Law, and inductance. 4 lecture hours. 3 laboratory hours. Prerequisite: PHY 160 , MAT 172 .
