Music Industry Minor

The Music Industry minor is designed for students that want to dip their feet in the pool of music industry. Students will have the opportunity to sample the worlds of recording technology, entertainment and promotion, music literacy, and connect to professionals in the industry of creating, marketing, and producing music.

Requirements (18 credits):

MUS 181 Foundations of Music Theory and Musicianship 3 credit hours (may be exempt)
MUS 297 Survey of Music Industry 3 credit hours
MUS 397 Music Entertainment and Promotion 3 credit hours
MUS 497 Music Publishing, Licensing and Copyright 3 credit hours
