International Business Minor

The International Business minor is designed to add international business acumen to students who are studying another business discipline or majoring in a non-business area. Students gain knowledge and practical application to conducting business globally.

Students must attain a 2.0 or higher in each course that serves as a prerequisite to a subsequent Business course. (Refer to the course description for specific prerequisites.) Failure to attain a 2.0 in prerequisite courses may lengthen the time to graduation.

Requirements (18 credits):

BUS 150 Introduction to Business 3 credit hours (waived for students who have completed MGT 150 and MKT 100 with a grade of 2.0 or higher)
IBS 200 Principles of International Business 3 credit hours
INT 260 Cross-Cultural Communication 3 credit hours
IBS 380 Global Management and Marketing 3 credit hours
IBS 395 International Business Experience 3 credit hours
OR
Study Abroad (students must transfer at least 3 credits back to York College)
G 332 Globalizing Economic World 3 credit hours
