Gerontology is the study of older adults and the aging process. Foundationally, Gerontology is a biopsychosocial field of study. Therefore, the Gerontology Minor addresses biological, psychological, and social aspects of aging. The Gerontology Minor complements many majors and enhances career opportunities particularly for students in the health and human service-related professions.
