Criminology and Criminal Justice Minor

A minor in Criminology and Criminal Justice provides students with an opportunity to study both the adult and juveniles justice systems. Additionally, the causes of crime and victimization are explored in a variety of courses. Students must earn a 2.0 or higher in all CJA courses.

Requirements (18 credits):

CJA 101 Introduction to Criminal Justice 3 credit hours
CJA 203 Ethical Issues in Criminal Justice 3 credit hours
Choose 12 credits in other courses in Criminal Justice, of which a minimum of 9 credits must be at the 300/400 level.
