Environmental Sustainability

Every environmental issue has a tangible link to a multitude of academics disciplines; e.g. the natural, the social sciences, the humanities, business, and economics.  Many of our present and future problems will not necessarily be solved by a focused course of study in one discipline, but rather, by individuals who have been exposed to a multi-disciplinary approach to problem solving.  This constellation will prepare our students to participate in a global society that is increasingly sensitive to environmental issues and will deepen their awareness of the complexity of environmental problems and the pressing need for novel solutions.
