CVE 210 Sustainable EngineeringFall Semester
This course is an examination of the concept of sustainability and its application to the infrastructure that sustains society, e.g., water supply and distribution, energy production and delivery systems, food and agriculture, material construction and waste, etc. This course provides an introduction to the current state of the science and public policy, as well as a review of the physical, chemical, ecological, and economic principles used to examine interactions between humans and the natural environment. This is a discussion-based course and active participation is expected of all students.
