In this course, a student will begin the process of experimental design for original research, by developing hypotheses towards a fundamental biological question, and developing a formal research proposal. Prerequisite: Students must have earned 60 or more credits and minimum of 2.5 cumulative grade point average at the time of application and departmental approval.
