THE 321 Lighting Design

This course is an introduction to the basic principles of lighting design. Practical projects will allow students to develop design techniques for multiple venues. This course includes script analysis pertinent to lighting design and effects, collaborative design, color theory, basic design concepts, control systems, electrical theory, the mechanics of lighting instruments, and presentation. Prerequisite: FCO 105 or by permission of instructor.
