RAD 340 Radiography Practicum II
This course is the clinical aspect of and is taken concurrently with RAD 330 . Students learn by observing, assisting, and performing under the direct and/or indirect guidance of program faculty and radiography staff. The course topics will include computed tomography (CT) of the brain, thorax, abdomen, and pelvis; image analysis standards including effective image critique for technical, procedural, and pathological factors; and radiographic procedures of the boney thorax, vertebral column, digestive studies, urinary studies, mobile and surgical radiography, cerebral cranium, visceral cranium, and specialty fluoroscopy.
