CJA 369 Race and the Criminal Justice System
This course provides a detailed review of the causes and consequences of racial disparities in the criminal justice system as well as the effectiveness of mechanisms aimed to reduce racial disparity. The course will also challenge students to identify mechanisms and policies which could reduce racial disparities in the criminal justice system. Prerequisite: CJA 101
