BIO 308 Animal Physiology

This course presents principles of animal physiology with an emphasis on the functional biology of vertebrate and higher invertebrate animals. Physiological systems are discussed as evolutionary adaptations to environmental challenges. The laboratory stresses the collection, analysis, and reporting of experimental data. 3 hours lecture. 1 three-hour laboratory. Prerequisite: BIO 290
