BIO 212 Environmental BiologyFall
This course is an introduction to applied ecology. Class meetings review biological and ecological principles, including ecological efficiency, nutrient cycling, biological diversity, and population growth. Past and current environmental issues, such as resource use and pollution, are examined in light of ecological principles. Students will be asked to examine these issues from multi-disciplinary perspectives and propose potential solutions. BIO 204 recommended, but not required.
