CVE 280 Civil Engineering Site DesignSpring Semester
This course introduces civil engineering students to the standards of professional practice, including the civil engineering code of ethics and licensure, and the basic tools for collecting field data for civil engineering site design projects. Specifically, the course covers the skills of determining site layout and access, establishing site contour and drainage, installation of utilities, elementary surveying, and the creation of drawings using a computer aided drafting software. Taken with 1 three-hour lab period (CVE 281). Prerequisite: CVE 100 . Corequisite: CVE 281.
