REC 450 Recreation Administration
This course will study the organizational patterns and administrative problems involved in operating various leisure service agencies: forms of organization, planning, budget, personnel, liability, public relations, and evaluation. Required for all majors of senior standing. Prerequisite: This course may be taken upon completion of all other required recreation courses, including but not limited to REC 101 , REC 103 , REC 200 , REC 210 /REC 211 , and REC 221 , and should be scheduled for the last spring semester of the student’s program prior to graduation. Corequisite: REC 491 . This course may be taken either before or after the Directed Field Experience.
