SPN 125 Orientation to Mexico

Spring Semester

This course provides students with a general overview of Mexico—its customs, traditions, and some unique features of Mexican Spanish. This course is intended exclusively for students planning to participate in the Mini-Mester in Mexico. The class is taught in English. Mini-Mester in Mexico: Students may earn three to six elective credits by participating in intensive Spanish language study in Mexico. Students live with Mexican families and study language and culture at an established language institute. No previous Spanish is required. Contact the foreign language coordinator for further information. Prerequisite: SPN 125. 3-6 credit hours.
