BIO 220 Human Anatomy and Physiology I

Fall-Spring Semesters

This course is recommended for students seeking careers in health-related fields. A study of the structure and function of the human body is offered utilizing a systems approach. Emphasis is placed on the gross and microscopic anatomy as well as the physiology of the cell, integumentary system, skeletal system, muscular system, and nervous system. Dissection is required. 3 hours lecture. 1 three-hour laboratory (BIO221). Prerequisite: BIO 142  or BIO 150  with a grade of 2.0 or higher.
