The Master of Accounting in Fraud and Forensics (MAcc) prepares students to build upon a strong foundation of technical accounting knowledge while developing advanced analytical, investigative, and professional judgment skills. The program emphasizes fraud prevention, detection, and forensic accounting practices, along with advanced study in auditing, accounting theory, and professional research. Students expand their understanding of the legal and ethical responsibilities of accountants, the strategic role of accounting in business organizations, and the use of information systems, data analysis, and technology in identifying, analyzing, and responding to financial misconduct.

MACC Program Policies
The MAcc is designed for students with an undergraduate degree in accounting. Applicants with an alternate undergraduate major are required to demonstrate academic proficiency in accounting concepts prior to beginning MAcc courses.
