Reading Specialist (PK-12), M.ED

This program challenges education professionals to build expertise in reading instruction, childhood and adolescent literature, literacy program development, and the application of these strategies in the classroom. Graduates will be distinguished as highly effective literacy experts in their schools and organization. Candidates with active PDE Teaching Certificates at the conclusion of their programs who also successfully complete the associated PRAXIS examination will be eligible to apply for the PK-12 Reading Specialist Certification.
