MAT 290 Mathematical Content Review and Instructional PerspectivesFall Odd-Numbered Years
This course serves as a comprehensive review of topics taken from foundational math courses. The course prepares students who are interested in obtaining certification in Secondary Education mathematics to successfully pass the math content area Praxis exam. Concurrently, the students will learn effective teaching & tutoring methodologies from current pedagogical journal articles, as well as gain application experience in these methods. Prerequisite: MAT 171 Â
