PHY 160 Engineering Physics: MechanicsFall/Spring
A calculus‐based Physics course in mechanics for engineering and science majors. The use of vectors is emphasized throughout this course. Topics include linear motion, vectors, projectile motion, Newton’s Laws, friction, conservation of energy, conservation of momentum, collisions, moment of inertia, and rotational motion. Prerequisite: MAT 171 with a grade of 2.0 or higher.
