CM 431 Advanced Production Portfolio

Spring

This senior capstone course provides students with an opportunity to integrate and refine their skills in media content creation. Students will focus on the intensive production of professional-quality narrative, documentary, journalistic, and/or experimental video projects for a client. The course will guide students in creating a professional digital portfolio to showcase their tangible skills and knowledge. Students will also strengthen professional skills, including networking and project management. The course emphasizes the importance of using video as a sales and marketing tool for professional and personal brand development. Prerequisite: CM 341. Mass Communication, Film and Media Arts, and Sport Media majors only.
