ART 365 Drawing IVFall/Spring
This course advances character design with a focus on storytelling and expressive detail. Students will develop human, animal, and hybrid characters, emphasizing poses, expressions, and body language to convey personality and emotion. Building on anatomy, they will refine characters with unique backstories and explore storyboarding techniques like visual pacing and scene composition for narrative impact. Through practice and critique, students will create a polished portfolio of narrative sequences and character designs suited for illustration, concept art, animation, and the graphic novel. Prerequisite: ART 315 .
