ART 315 Drawing IIIFall/Spring
This course explores techniques in drawing with an emphasis on animals, the human form, face, and character design. Students will study anatomy, texture, and movement to capture both realistic and imaginative subjects. Students will learn to blend animal features with expressive character elements, developing skills in anthropomorphic and hybrid design. Studio sessions, field observations, and critiques will support students as they refine their personal style and create a portfolio of character-focused work, suited for illustration, concept art, animation, and the graphic novel. Prerequisite: ART 265 .
