Spring

This course in advanced film production is a capstone of the Film and Media Arts major. It focuses on preparing students for success in the film industry. Students will learn about common business practices and hiring procedures in the profession, and develop the resources they will need to secure employment after graduation. Students will also assume a key crew position on a senior thesis project. Working with their classmates and lower‐level Film and Media Arts majors, they will independently develop a short film of 15‐20 minutes in length, taking it from concept to completion.  Prerequisite: CM 338 .
