CM 238 Introduction to Film Production II

In this course, students will gain an understanding of the responsibilities of the above‐the‐line personnel on a film production. They will learn about the creative and logistical roles played by the Producer, Director, Director of Photography, and Screenwriter and how these crew members collaborate with one another on a film project. Students will also get hands‐on experience assisting with the creative development and personnel management tasks that support the filmmaking process. Prerequisite: CM 208. Corequisite: CM 239.
