BIO 220 Human Anatomy & Physiology I

Fall/Spring

This course is recommended for students seeking careers in health-related fields.  A study of the structure and function of the human body is offered utilizing a systems approach.  Emphasis is placed on the gross and microscopic anatomy as well as the physiology of the cell, integumentary system, skeletal system, muscular system, and nervous system.  3 lecture hours. Prerequisite: BIO 142  or BIO 150  with a grade of 2.0 or higher. Corequisite: BIO 221
