NUR 101 Exploration of Health Professions

Fall-Spring Semesters

This course will provide an overview of the roles and educational requirements for nursing and other health related professional practice fields.  In this course, students in the pre-nursing major will have interaction with and advising from nursing faculty to assist with self-exploration and career planning.  Students will study trends, issues, and ethical dilemmas that may impact various health care professions.  This course will be delivered in a seminar format and information will be presented by faculty, guest speakers, and students.
