NUR 202 Nutrition in Health Care

Students are introduced to the study of normal nutrition and the motivational, social, economic, and cultural factors influencing nutrition through all life stages. Assessment of nutritional states of clients is addressed as part of the nursing process. Application of diet therapy concepts for patients with selected health problems is discussed. Prerequisite: CHM 122/123.
