EGR 265 Materials and Solids Laboratory

Spring Semester

Students in the Materials and Solids Laboratory conduct experiments demonstrating the mechanical behavior of engineering materials. Experiments may emphasize statistical experiment design, fundamental concepts in strength of materials, the use of instrumentation such as strain gauges, or other topics. Communication skills including laboratory report writing and/or oral presentations are emphasized in this class. 3 laboratory hours. Corequisite: EGR 264.
