CHM 122 Principles of General and Organic ChemistryFall-Spring Semesters
This course is designed specifically for majors requiring a single semester of chemistry as a continuation from high school chemistry. The course emphasizes general chemistry principles that are essential to continuing study in the health sciences. The course includes a brief introduction to organic functional groups. 1 three-hour laboratory period (CHM123). 3 class periods. Prerequisite: High school chemistry. Students with weak high school backgrounds are advised to complete CHM 104 (Foundations of Chemistry) before enrolling in CHM122, CHM123.
