CALENDARS

All dates and deadlines are posted on our calendars.

The Online Programs Calendar is the calendar of record for the Online RN-BSN program, Masters of Science in Nursing programs, and the Master of Data Analytics Programs.

The Academic Programs Calendar is the calendar of record for all other graduate and professional programs.

DROP/ADD PERIODS

The Drop/Add period is a window in which students may make changes to their schedule freely and without penalty. These changes may be made in YCP Web. Contact the Registrar’s Office for questions regarding dropping or adding courses.

COURSE WITHDRAWAL

Students may withdraw from a course following the drop/add period and prior to the posted deadline on their calendar of record.

Students who withdraw from a course in the Online RN-BSN program, Master of Science in Nursing programs, and the Master of Data Analytics Programs are not eligible for a refund.

Students in all other graduate and professional programs are subject to the Tuition Refund Schedule.

PROGRAM WITHDRAWAL

Students may fully withdraw from their program at any time by raising their hand in the Spartan Success Network and indicating that they wish to withdraw.  Students may contact their advisor for assistance if needed.  Program withdrawal requests made after the Drop/Add window are subject to the Course Withdrawal Policy.

CONTINUOUS ENROLLMENT

Continuous enrollment courses are free, zero-credit courses that may be added in lieu of academic courses. Students who wish to maintain their enrollment status during a period of absence may add a ‘continuous enrollment course’.  Students may enroll in continuous enrollment courses for up to three consecutive sessions or five sessions in total during the enrollment period.  Students who do not add the continuous enrollment course or who exceed the continuous enrollment policy limits must reapply to their program.

ENROLLMENT STATUS

Enrollment status is determined on each session on a case by case basis (Fall, Spring, Summer).

  • Graduate students must be registered for a minimum of nine credits to be considered full-time students or five credits to be considered half-time students.
  • Undergraduate students must be registered for a minimum of twelve credits to be considered full-time students or six credits to be considered half time students.

COMPLETION PERIOD

  • Undergraduate and Masters Degree students must complete their degree within seven years of the first day of the session in which they initially enrolled in their program.
  • Graduate Certificate students must complete their certificates within four years of their initial entrance into the program.
