Critical Thinking and Theory Minor
Return to: Programs of Study
The Critical Thinking and Theory minor provides students with the intellectual tools needed to analyze arguments, question assumptions, and make sense of complex ideas across academic disciplines. Students explore how knowledge is produced, communicated, challenged, and transformed through the study of logic, theory, culture, and critique. The minor complements a wide range of majors by fostering adaptable thinkers who can assess complexity, communicate effectively, and approach uncertainty with confidence and rigor. Such skills are highly valued by employers and graduate programs alike.
