Psychology Minor

The Psychology minor provides students with a broad foundation in the various subdisciplines of psychology. This understanding of human behavior and mental processes complements many majors, enhancing career opportunities in a number of professions, including education, nursing, and criminal justice.

Requirements for Minor in Psychology

A minor in Psychology requires 18 credit hours; a minimum of 9 credit hours must be completed at York College.
100 level or 200 level transfer courses in Psychology cannot be used to satisfy 300 or 400 level Psychology course requirements. These courses will be transferred as free electives.
