Educational Leadership (PK-12), M.ED

This program readies education professionals to positively influence schools and districts as school administrators. Students will learn evidence-based approaches for improving the quality and effectiveness of education through leadership, cultivate highly effective leadership, and real-world applications to solve the challenges faced by school administrators . Graduates will be distinguished as highly effective school leaders within their organizations. Candidates with active PDE Teaching Certificates at the conclusion of their programs who successfully complete the requisite PRAXIS examination will be eligible to apply for the PK-12 School Principal Certification.

Graduate Education Learning Outcomes  

Degree and credential candidates who elect the Educational Leadership specialization must complete either a one-semester (three credits) or two-semester (two credits each semester) administrative internship.  Candidates must complete all course requirements prior to beginning the internship.  An Administrative Internship Manual will be provided by the Program Supervisor of the Educational Leadership program.
