The Studio Art minor offers Graphic Design and Digital Art and Artificial Intelligence majors hands-on exploration of traditional and contemporary art practices that complement digital design skills. Through courses in drawing, painting, sculpture, illustration, printmaking, and more, students deepen their understanding of visual principles, develop craftsmanship, and refine their creative process. This minor emphasizes experimentation with various mediums and techniques, fostering a well-rounded artistic foundation. By blending fine art practices with graphic design and digital art, students enhance their ability to think critically, work conceptually, and create innovative, multidisciplinary design solutions. This minor is ideal for students looking to expand their creative skill set, explore new artistic avenues, and apply fine arts knowledge to professional design contexts. Note: Fine Art majors may NOT minor in Studio Art. The Studio Art minor is open to Graphic Design and Digital Art & AI majors only.
