Entrepreneurship Minor

The Entrepreneurship minor provides students with an understanding of the entrepreneurial process and key skills for success. This background will help students develop business ideas, evaluate business opportunities, and start and run a business.

Students must attain a 2.0 or higher in each course that serves as a prerequisite to a subsequent Business course. (Refer to the course description for specific prerequisites.) Failure to attain a 2.0 in prerequisite courses may lengthen the time to graduation.

Requirements (15 credits)

ENT 150 Introduction to Entrepreneurship 3 credit hours
ENT 220 The Entrepreneurial Marketplace 3 credit hours
ENT 260 Entrepreneurship and Small Business Management 3 credit hours

Minor Electives

Students must complete 6 credits of the following:

ENT 350 Creativity and Innovation 3 credit hours
ENT 365 Social Enterprise 3 credit hours
ENT 490 Entrepreneurial Experience I/McNees Accelerator 3 3 credit hours
ENT 491 Entrepreneurial Experience II 3 credit hours each semester
