Dance Minor

The dance minor is a combination of theory and practical dance, providing students with the knowledge and skills to create their own moves.

Requirements (18 credits)

BIO 112 Essentials of Anatomy and Physiology 3 credit hours
OR
BIO 220 Human Anatomy & Physiology I 4 credit hours
BIO 221 Human Anatomy & Physiology Lab 0 credit hours
MUS 181 Foundations of Music Theory and Musicianship 3 credit hours
OR
THE 215 Acting 3 credit hours
THE 213 Introduction to Dance History 3 credit hours
THE 413 Dance Choreography & Composition 3 credit hours

Elective Courses

Students are required to complete 6 credits of the following:
