The Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Integrated Marketing Communication (IMC) is designed to provide the undergraduate with both theory and practical experiences in each of the key areas of Advertising, Public Relations, Social Media, Brand Management, and Marketing Research, which is necessary to be successful in the increasingly complex world of business. IMC is centered on a customer’s shopping and buying preferences and experiences, and is essentially the bridge between marketing and branding. Graduates will be prepared for responsible leadership in the professional, civic, social, and economic purviews of society reinforcing York College’s vision of students becoming a catalyst for positive change. Students will have many opportunities within IMC for project based experiential learning, including a senior capstone course where students work directly with a client to design, research, enact, and measure a complete IMC campaign.
