Communication Minor

Effective communication skills are vital for success in any academic discipline and career path. Employers hire college graduates who excel at communication. This minor provides an opportunity to develop these important communication skills for work and life. Students can easily include this minor in most majors at YCP.

Requirements (15 credits)

CM 206 Communication Theory 3 credit hours
CM 327 Persuasion 3 credit hours
6 credits from any Communication (CM) course (may not include more than 3 credits of practicum).

Minor Electives

Students must complete 3 credits of the following:

CM 211 Mass Communication 3 credit hours
CM 212 Public Speaking 3 credit hours
CM 329 Interpersonal Communication 3 credit hours
