Professional Writing Minor

Good writing skills are essential in any professional setting. The Professional Writing minor is a suitable complement to any major as it helps students to enhance their written communications skills so they can gain a competitive edge in the workplace. Students will learn the theories of writing and will gain experience in practical applications of writing concepts both in-class and out of class. They will learn to write effectively and to produce print and electronic documents for a variety of audiences.

Requirements (15 credits)
Minor Elective I
Students must complete 3 credits from the following:
Minor Electives II
- Students must complete 6 elective credits selected from WRT courses. At least 3 elective credits of WRT must be at the 300 level or above.
