International Business Minor

The International Business minor is designed to provide international business acumen to students who are studying another business discipline or majoring in a non-business area. Students gain knowledge of and practical application to conducting business globally.

Students must attain a 2.0 or higher in each course that serves as a prerequisite to a subsequent Business course. (Refer to the course description for specific prerequisites.) Failure to attain a 2.0 in prerequisite courses may lengthen the time to graduation.

Requirements (18 credits)

IBS 200 Principles of International Business 3 credit hours
MGT 150 Principles of Management 3 credit hours
MKT 100 Principles of Marketing 3 credit hours

Minor Electives I

Students must complete 6 credits of the following:

HSP 365 International Cuisine & Culture 3 credits hours
IBS 395 International Business Experience 3 credit hours
INT 201 Introduction to World Languages 3 credit hours
PS 302 International Relations 3 credit hours
PS 303 American Foreign Policy 3 credit hours crosslisted as HIS 393 American Foreign Policy 3 credit hours
PS 307 International Law 3 credit hours
PS 308 International Political Economy 3 credit hours
SPM 300 International Sport and Entertainment 3 credit hours

Students must complete 3 credits of the following:
