Applied Behavior Analysis Certificate

This Post-Masters Certificate program is designed to prepare candidates for careers as professional behavior therapists.  In these roles, our graduates work in mental health agencies and organizations to deploy evidence-based techniques that help clients engage in healthy, productive, socially-significant behaviors.  The York College Applied Behavior Analysis course sequence has been approved by the Association for Behavior Analysis International as a Verified Course Sequence.  Candidates who complete the program’s verified course sequence and successfully document the requisite field supervision hours required by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board are eligible to sit for the Board Certified Behavior Analysis (BCBA) Examination.  Candidates who are employed in a mental health agency or organization may complete some or all of their field supervision with their employer.  Alternatively, candidates may also complete up to four 2-credit supervised internship courses through York College.  These courses will place students within local mental health agencies for supervised fieldwork.
