This Master of Education program is designed to prepare candidates for careers as professional behavior therapists.  In these roles, our graduates work in mental health agencies and organizations to deploy evidence-based techniques that help clients engage in healthy and productive behaviors.  The York College Applied Behavior Analysis Program has been approved by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board as a Verified Sequence.  Candidates who complete the program and successfully document the requisite filed supervising hours required by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board, are eligible to sit for the Board Certified Behavior Examinations.  Candidates who are employed in a mental health agency or organization,  may complete some or all of their field supervision with their employer.  Students may also complete up to four 2-credit supervised internship courses at YCP.  These courses will place students within local mental health agencies.
