Music Industry Minor

Designed for the student who wants to dip their foot in the pool of music industry, you’ll sample the worlds of recording technology, entertainment and promotion, music literacy, plus you’ll get connected to professionals in the business of creating, marketing, and producing music.

Requirements (18 credits):

MUS 181 Foundations of Music Theory and Musicianship 3 credit hours (may be exempt)
MUS 297 Survey of Music Industry 3 credit hours
MUS 397 Music Entertainment and Promotion 3 credit hours
MUS 497 Music Publishing, Licensing and Copyright 3 credit hours
