Operations Management Minor

The Operations Management minor helps students develop business ready skills to manage and improve the activities concerned with the conversion of raw materials into finished products and/or services. Students will learn about forecasting techniques, capacity (or resource) planning, inventory management, quality control, and operations scheduling. This minor prepares students for entry-level positions such as a production planner, inventory analyst, project (or systems) analyst.
Students must attain a 2.0 or higher in each course. (Refer to the course description for specific prerequisites.) Failure to attain a 2.0 in courses may lengthen the time to graduation. This minor is not available for Supply Chain Operations Management majors.
