Entrepreneurial Studies Minor

The Entrepreneurial Studies minor provides students with an understanding of the entrepreneurial process and key skills for success. This background will help students develop business ideas, evaluate business opportunities, and start and run a business.

Students must attain a 2.0 or higher in each course that serves as a prerequisite to a subsequent Business course. (Refer to the course description for specific prerequisites.) Failure to attain a 2.0 in prerequisite courses may lengthen the time to graduation.

Requirements (18 credits):

ENT 150 Introduction to Entrepreneurship 3 credit hours
MKT 100 Principles of Marketing 3 credit hours
MGT 150 Principles of Management 3 credit hours
ENT 220 The Entrepreneurial Marketplace 3 credit hours
ENT 260 Entrepreneurship and Small Business Management 3 credit hours

3 credit course selected from the following:

MKT 210 Market Measurement and Analysis 3 credit hours
ENT 350 Creativity and Innovation 3 credit hours
ENT 470 Special Topics in Entrepreneurship 3 credit hours
ENT 472 Special Topics in Entrepreneurship 3 credit hours
ENT 474 Special Topics in Entrepreneurship 3 credit hours
